Fitness zvijezda s Instagrama i blogerica Kelsey Welss razbila je sve mitove i zablude o izgledu i gubitku kilograma. Objavila je sliku na kojoj ima 65 kg, 55,5 kg i 63,5 kg. Uvjerljivo najbolje izgleda na posljednjoj slici iako na sve tri izgleda podjednako mršavo. Ključ je u vježbanju i onome što ono čini našem tijelu, a ne u brojci na vagi, ističe Kelsey.

PLEASE STOP THINKING YOUR WEIGHT EQUALS YOUR PROGRESS AND FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING PLEASE STOP LETTING YOR WEIGHT HAVE ANY AFFECT WHATSOEVER ON YOUR SELF ESTEEM, like I used to. To any of you who are where I once was, please listen to me. I am 5' 7" and weigh 140 lbs. When I first started #bbg I was 8 weeks post partum and 145 lbs. I weighed 130 before getting pregnant, so based on nothing besides my own warped perception, I decided my "goal weight" should be 122 and to fit into my skinniest jeans. Well after a few months of BBG and breastfeeding, I HIT IT and I fit into those size 0 jeans. Well guess what? I HAVE GAINED 18 POUNDS SINCE THEN. EIGHT FREAKING TEEN. Also, I have gone up two pant sizes and as a matter of fact I ripped those skinny jeans wide open just the other week trying to pull them up over my knees.😂 My point?? According to my old self and flawed standards, I would be failing miserably. THANK GOODNESS I finally learned to start measuring my progress by things that matter — strength, ability, endurance, health, and HAPPINESS. Take progress photos and videos. Record how many push-ups you can do, ect. And if you can, your BFP — there is only a 5 lb difference between my starting and current weight, but my body composition has changed COMPLETELY. I have never had more muscle and less body fat than I do now. I have never been healthier than I am now. I have never been more comfortable in my own skin than I am now. And if I didn't say #screwthescale long ago, I would have gave up on my journey. So to the little teeny tiny voice in the back of my head that still said "😳wtf is this- not 140!?😭😩" last week when I stepped on the scale, I say SCREW. YOU. “Zaboravite vagu! Molim vas prestanite se opsesivno opterećivati brojkom na glupoj vagi! Molim vas prestanite misliti da vas određuje vaša težina i ne dopustite da težina ima ikakav utjecaj na vaše samopouzdanje, kao što sam ja nekad radila. Ja sam visoka 170 cm i teška 63,5 kg. Kad sam tek počela s programom #bbg (trening “bikini body guide” op.a.) bilo je to osam sedmica nakon što sam rodila i imala sam tada 65 kg. Prije trudnoće imala sam 59 kilograma pa sam odlučila na osnovu ničega, osim moje izvrnute percepcije, da će moja “idealna težina” biti 55 kg i da ću stati u svoje najuže farmerice. Nakon nekoliko mjeseci ovog treninga i dojenja dosegla sam što sam htjela i stala sam u traperice veličine 0. Ali znate što?
Od tad sam se udebljala osam kila! Osam kila! Također sam počela nositi farmerice dva broja veće i neki dan sam poderala te najuže traperice pokušavajući ih navući preko koljena.
Šta je moja poanta? Stara “ja” bi ovo smatrala velikim neuspjehom. Hvala Bogu pa sam naučila mjeriti moj napredak onim što je zoista bitno – snagom, sposobnošću, izdržljivošću, zdravljem i srećom. Pravite fotografije i videa svog napretka. Snimite koliko sklekova možete napraviti. Samo je 1,5 kg razlike između moje početne i sadašnje težine, ali kompozicija mog tijela se potpuno promijenila. Nikad nisam imala više mišića i manje masti nego sad. Nikad nisam bila zdravija nego sad. Nikad se nisam bolje osjećala u svojoj koži nego sad. Nekad bih mislila – što je ovo 63 kg?? Prošle sedmice sam stala na vagu i rekla “j… se”. I mislim da bi i vi vjerovatno trebali to isto reći svojoj vagi.” – napisala je Kelsey ispod svojih slika napretka, prenosi 24sata.hr.
Danas Kelsey izgleda ovako i uživa u vježbanju četiri puta u seedmici:
HEYY YO WHASSUP!?! This little snug and I spent the whole morning at the pool and it was marvelous. Did I get to lay in the sun (or really even sit down😂)? Absolutely not. But did I get a whole lot of extra cardio in?? Absolutely!🙌🏼 You guys this kid can literally run faster than me.😰 It's all good though cause he also loves to dance and it's the best thing I've ever seen and I mean LOOK AT THAT FACE!!🤗 I'm obsessed. || Now he's recharging his batteries and I'm just willing myself to get off my sofa and be productive. When he wakes it's gym time- LISS + HIIT goin down! Many of you asked when I posted my workout sched the other day what I do for HIIT- I am working on putting together a blog post of my faves, but today I'll be doing a little "booty burner HIIT" routine I made up awhile ago. WHASSUP EVERYBODY!?! Listen to me. If you ever want to liven things up in epic proportions I would HIGHLY suggest busting out some @backstreetboys radio because I have heard not only the BSB, but my first love NSYNC, as well as some BBMAC alll in the last hour and I don't know about you but it is LITERALLY impossible for me not to be jazzed about life rn whilst jamming to the classic boy bands. I am thinking I may have to carry this into my cardio this afternoon.🙌🏼💃🏻✌🏼️ALSO I am feeling completely brilliant because what is it about these songs that even after years of not hearing them you can still remember EVERY SINGLE WORD!? Amazing. It's the little things on a Thursday guys.
